Memories from Jean Davis

Dear Nielsen Family,

I was so surprised to hear of Pat’s passing. She was such a ray of sunshine in our lives.

It was a privilege to have her come here to visit us in Oregon, as a long lost relative, and acquaint us with the Schaar family organization. We really enjoyed her, as did my mother, the eldest relative in the North West.

The reunions were events worth attending and remembering. She seemed so organized and caring in putting the steps together for all of us, so that we would enjoy the event.

I will remember her always as the motivator for our family history projects. And I am so grateful for her encouragement now that we have put our histories together for our family.

Pat was everything a person should be, exploring the world of relatives and making them into friends. She seemed to know that if we didn’t have follow up reunions, we would forget each other and never know how many terrific people there were to become new friends.

We are grateful for her life and generosity. Someone like Pat is rare indeed and impossible to replace.

Please accept our condolences for your loss.

Sincerely,

Jean N. Davis and family
