I was sad to hear of your mother's passing. She was an amazing lady. She was my second missionary companion in Germany in 1961. We worked together in Ludwigshafen for about four months, and she taught me a lot. I really admired her as a person and also her many talents. She was a people person and knew how to interact with people.
Im sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral as I am currently serving as an Assistant to the Matron in the Sacramento Temple and cannot leave the Temple District without special permission from the Temple Department. My thoughts will be with you though.
