Memories from Royal K. Hunt

One reason the West Deutsche Mission was successful was our daring to do such things as our traveling sisters, (with Pat of course), traveling musicals, (with Pat,) and missionaries who gave their all, (Pat included) to find, teach and keep converts.
Do you remember "Traveling Baptismal Fonts?" Oh, how great you all were, truly great, led by some really strong elders. (see Seventies, mission presidents, Primary General Board, BYU professors, Bishops, etc.
You name it, you did it.) Did you know that Traveling Baptismal fonts were taken to other beginning missions?

Of course, best of all for Pat and the others was that we really learned to Teach By the Spirit. She was never afraid to testify. Her greatness and that of the others was that we learned to rely on the Savior and the Spirit.
Because of that the West German Mission was the only mission to reach the December quota, set by President Alvin Dyer. Pat was a part of the best missionaries that the Lord ever got into one Army of God.
How could we not love and appreciate one another and desire to see each other twice each year?
How could we not want to serve again and again?

Yes Pat, we love you and each other, because we truly tried to be servants of the greatest Servant of all, even Our Savior, yes, our Leader. He whom we love.
I love you, Pat.
Royal K. Hunt
